The NCHS Research Network on Humanitarian Efforts provides a platform for connecting research on humanitarian efforts both within Norway and internationally.

The Research Network on Humanitarian Efforts is hosted by the Norwegian Centre for Humanitarian Studies and funded by the NORGLOBAL program of the Norwegian Research Council.

The Research Network aims to create a platform to strengthen dialogue and information exchange among humanitarian researchers, practitioners, policy makers, students and the public on key issues, challenges and trends in the humanitarian sector

The Research Network also provides a mechanism for exchange of knowledge and experiences among humanitarian researchers and to identify where further humanitarian related research is required.

Research Network pillars

The Research Network is established around five thematic pillars. These pillars function as entry points for discussion of key issues and challenges, and where there is need for deeper understanding and further research.
