Upcoming forum: Perspectives on futures of post-conflict societies

The forum will take place on Friday 21 October from 08:30-09:30 at Jekteviksbakken 31 in Bergen. Breakfast will be served. You can also follow the event on Zoom.

During this breakfast forum, “Perspectives on Futures of Post-Conflict Societies” hosted by Bergen Global, filmmaker Akoul de Mabior will meet Sarah Tobin (Chr. Michelsen Institute, CMI), Torunn Wimpelmann (CMI) and Elina Troscenko (University of Bergen, UiB) for a discussion on how younger generations, particularly women, approach and see the future of post-conflict societies.

Akoul de Mabior is director of the documentary No Simple Way Home, a personal film about politics, nation building and belonging in South Sudan. This film opens the human rights program Checkpoints  at the upcoming Bergen International Film Festival. No Simple Way Home will be screened on 20, 21 and 26 October 2022 at Bergen Kino.
