CMI seeking postdoctoral researchers for ERC project

Applications close 10 September

The Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI) in Bergen is seeking two postdoctoral researchers to conduct research related to the project War and Fun: Reconceptualising Warfare and Its Experience (Warfun).

Funded by the European Research Council, Consolidator Grant, and led by Research Professor Antonio De Lauri, the Warfun project builds on the central hypothesis that fun is a key component of war.

By studying the role and implications of fun for soldiers and veterans, the EU-funded Warfun project aims to reframe the way we understand how war unfolds, what it means to be at war, and what the long-term effects of war are on soldiers and veterans.

The start date for both positions is 1 January 2022 (however a different starting date can be negotiated).

The deadline for applications is 10 September 2021. Applications must be submitted via www.jobnorge.no.
