Cellini participates in CARFMS Annual Conference

On 16 May, Amanda Cellini (PRIO) participated in the 10th Annual Conference for the Canadian Association for Refugee and Forced Migration Studies (CARFMS), hosted by the Centre for Asia-Pacific Initiatives at the University of Victoria. The conference, Forgotten Corridors: Global Displacement & the Politics of Engagement, aimed at getting beyond the hierarchies of human mobility to spark a dialogue about the precarious nature of the lives of millions of migrants, demanding attention and engagement to make meaningful transformations.

Cellini presented a paper titled “The Search for Creativity in Response to Crisis: Moving Beyond Durable Solutions?” during the panel The Refugee Crisis: Challenges, Solutions and Reforms.
